Interview with Anton Wall, EVP and Commercial Director of Axkid
Can you tell us a little bit about how you first started working with Lisa&?
We got connected with Lisa& from a circular innovation hub. We started the conversation because there were limited possibilities to finance Axkid’s new circular revenue stream, which normally are not managed by traditional banks. And if Axkid is going to meet long-term sustainability goals, we need to grow our circular revenue streams.
What challenges or projects are you and Lisa& tackling together?
The big challenge is to be the first in our industry to launch a circular model of carseats. So we are forced to do everything from scratch. Not only the supply chain flow, but also the financial flows. This is where Lisa& adds value and help us with all types of questions in regards to finance, but also circular models and how goods should flow through it.
Do you have any stories of successes you’ve had together?
The early win was for us to find a partner to finance our model at all. Without this we were not able to start our business at all, because the traditional solutions are not built for circular models. This has given us opportunity to test and evaluate the model, make sure it’s scalable, and understand customer behaviour. We know that our model works and we have a partner now to scale it on a global level.
Are you able to share any metrics or performance data for the period in which you’ve worked with Lisa&?
We’ve launch Axkid in Sweden and Germany, with high interest from end consumers and positive brand sentiment.
